You can read for your sun, moon, rising or whichever sign you feel called to. You can calculate your moon and rising signs here-- astrology birth chart. Please remember these were channeled for the collective, make meaning with what is meaningful to you, and compost what doesn't resonate with you. Herbs should always be taken mindfully, consult me or your local herbalist if you have any questions.
Sweet cosmic ram, don't sting your nose on the nettles in your enthusiasm to barrel through life smelling all the roses and fighting for your next patch of grass. During this Earthy Taurus lunar eclipse the Ace of Earth is asking you to ground, to protect your energy and to accept the treasures that are already yours. Nettles are one of the most fortifying, nourishing and protective herbs. As an ally to this time consider drinking Nettle Mint Tea in the morning to ground and protect you before starting your day. Say YES to abundance. Keep a coin in your pocket. Bless your treasures by paying it forward. Do a nettle visualization meditation to the song "Slowdown" by Deeb-- imagining sitting surrounded by a circle of nettles, let the leaves weave a protective shield around you as the deep roots ground you down into the earth, stabilizing you so you can shift into a new cycle of bountiful balance.

This eclipse season you have catnip as your herbal ally. How can you observe yourself with curiosity and objectivity? How can you create new patterns and frequencies in your communication style? Are you quick to respond from a place of emotion only to regret it later? Maybe make like a kitten and take a cat nap before responding to an emotionally charged conversation. Would stepping back from an emotional response create more spaciousness and clarity? There is nothing wrong with emotions, or expressing them... we are in no way trying to bypass that. But, let's consider this a time to experiment with new ways of communicating. To quote from The Herbcrafter's Tarot "Just as catnip settles the emotions with its refreshing medicine, set your feelings aside and communicate observations and questions clearly." This is also an opportune time to communicate with yourself-- new ideas are bubbling right below the surface allow your beginners mind and curiosity the room to seize them. Catnip tincture can be used during this eclipse season to help harness the energy of the Page of Air.

The hanged one reversed suggests that perhaps you've been feeling like you're sacrificing a significant amount of time or energy and not getting much in return. Is it time to pause, and quit filling the void with stuff, busyness and distractions? Being busy, and "productive" but feeling unfulfilled with what you're filling your time with is, well; a waste of time. Obviously we all have obligations and bills to pay. But where can you let go a little and just hang out. We often feel like if we aren't constantly on and doing we are missing out-- "How can you embrace a foe as a friend?" This is the message from Burdock... the pause (the void) may feel like a foe, but rather than fearing failure and overcompensating with overdoing, try considering that these liminal spaces are not stagnation but are letting you know that lasting change takes time and space. Loosen your grip, let go just a little bit. Surrender is not failure. Read Grapefruit by Yoko Ono for beautiful poetic artistic prompts that feel in alignment with this cards' messages.

It feels like you want things to happen- and NOW! You are often stereotyped as a hyper organized "clean freak" perfectionist. But obviously you are much much more complex than a mainstream astrology stereotype. You have a gift of persistence, resilience and grit. These aspects of your character will be your helpers during this time. Wild Cherry is asking you to sweeten the creative process (and remember everything and anything can be creative) by inviting playfulness into your work. Like the sugar in the cherries fuel your body, let the wild cherry energy fuel your resilience, patience and strength of character. This may be a time where you feel things are one step forward-two steps back. Unexpected delays and bumps on the road could occur during eclipse season. This is all the more reason to anchor into your reserves of strength and fortify yourself with moments of pleasure and playfulness. This will ensure that even the harder moments will be followed by moments of sweetness. Supportive practices could include putting on a fun playlist to work to, little treats and healthy but indulgent snacks to keep you energized, singing in the shower, spiced teas or hot apple cider.

Like Chicory's long taproot brings nourishment to the surface, let yourself dive deep into your own soil. Allow your inner knowing, guides, support systems and resources help you quell any self doubt that has arisen since the last eclipse season. Be receptive to guidance from unexpected places. It is a time to be open to new partnerships, relationships and collaborations. Unlikely/odd connections may be made during this portal season and over time will bring new energy and vitality to project, ideas and personal philosophies. Don't let doubt throw you out of orbit. If you are stuck on a decision and don't know what to choose or which path to take allow outside help. Quiet your own minds' chatter and listen to a different perspective. Practice active listening. Root chakra strengthening will be especially beneficial at this time. Try roasted chicory root coffee, root vegetables, the yoga pose Sukhasana where you sit cross legged and tilt pelvis ever so slightly forward to straighten your spine and allow yourself to sink into the floor through your sit bones.
Calendula is joyfully prolific. Once established it will self sow and blossom year after year. This is what calendula shares with you. "Once you sow your own seeds of creativity it will last for more than one season." These shorter days lend themselves to you. By candle or lamp light allow your imagination to flow with ease. This is a great time for expansion, momentum and creative passion. Explore new art forms. Create for the sake of creating. Create art in the colours of calendula. This feels like an immensely expansive time for you. This is your season scorpio and you are no stranger to the thresholds between life, death and rebirth. As the earth becomes quiet, the last leaves fall and the great sleep of winter descends upon us here in the northern hemisphere, remember that the opposite is also true. In the southern hemisphere the world is waking up to the blooming of new life. Allow for the both/and. Allow the freedom to be here in the darkness while creating visions for what will blossom in 2022 from the compost of this past year.
I embody the journey rather than covet the destination. This affirmation came through strongly for you dear Sag. This past year, or really these past couple years have changed so much. Travel restrictions, changed plans, distance and delay have put a real damper on freedom and spontaneity. You thrive with motion. The moving forward, the adventure, the momentum is like a pulse pumping life force into your spirit. And, the slow down may have felt like a skipped beat, causing you to question your own heart and therein your own life. By redirecting this energy, this lack of physical motion inwardly, you can journey to spaces you may have previously been too distracted to consider. Cedar leaf is a powerful spirit, a teacher and a guide. Carry cedar leaf in your pocket for guidance and courage. The motion of your life is beyond the physical, beyond the tangible. During this eclipse season traveling in the realms of spirit and ancestors could be a way to quell your feelings of restlessness and grief over the trauma of the past two years. Cedar can be a partner on your journey to connecting and communicating with ancestors, spirit guides and past selves. Burning cedar can transform even the most mundane space into a ritual space. Build an alter to your past selves. Make daydreaming a daily ritual. Turn your home into a time machine by researching your ancestry or traditions from your lineage. I embody the journey rather than covet the destination.
You have free will. What a beautiful thing to remember. This season may bring up multiple paths, decisions or opportunities. This is not a time to become too pragmatic or too focused on the "right" choice. Rather try to make decisions from a place of creativity, curiosity and with an openness to alternative ideas or surprising pivots. This feels like a period of a great deal of future planning for you. You'll attract what you want by being bold, by being creative and by being you. Don't play small or over analyze or micromanage. Bee balm is a natural attractor, attracting bees, butterflies and hummingbirds to her. Be like bee balm and shine your most bold, colourful self to attract more of what you desire. Wear what you want to wear. Say what you want to say. Try to do more of the things that light you up and say no to as many things that drag you down as possible. The risk is worth it. Beyond your fear of being seen is the possibility of really being seen, and by being true to you finding more paths that feel joyful and aligned to walk on.
